Teaching Assistant required in Chorley

Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience?

Are you seeking work in the Chorley area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work with a Chorley based SEN School which caters for pupils with special educational needs, specifically Autism. The School is smaller than average and candidates in School must be hard working, have experience supporting adults or children with Autism and be willing to work with students who may display challenging behaviours.

The role is to start as soon as possible, although they will wait until September for the right candidate. The role will be full time and candidates must be available to work Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm. As part of your role you will be expected to support KS3/4 pupils who have Autism and pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with Autism and be willing to work with pupils who may display challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 60 per day

- Long term position available

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
