Teaching Assistant required in Behavioural Unit!

Are you a Support Assistant seeking work in the Preston area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based behavioural unit which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties and Challenging Behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently only had approximately 40 pupils on roll. As it stands, the pupils on roll are all male, however, the School can accept female pupils.

The role will be full time from September, although the School may want you to come into school on one voluntary day before hand so they can see you 'on the job'. As part of your role you will be expected to support the pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, you will also be expected to assist the teacher with behaviour management.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and and challenging behaviours, ideally you will also hold your Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 60 per day
