Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to fill a position in a specialised school in Ascot for children and young adults aged 4-16 years. Your role would mainly be supporting the pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs with their education, and encouraging them to develop essential life skills! This is a fantastic opportunity that is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about providing guidance on a 1:1 basis, and supporting them with any learning or behavioural difficulties they have!

This position will involve supporting pupils on a day to day basis who may have learning difficulties such as ADHD, Autism, GDD and due to the complex nature of this role, personal or professional experience in a similar environment is desired!

The ideal candidate would have…

  • A passion and interest for working with children and young adults on a 1:1 basis
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Any professional or personal experience with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Any SENCO qualifications
  • The hourly rate for this role is £9.70/£12.00ph depending on experience.

The hours of this role require the candidate to be available between the hours of 8:30-3:30 and position is available on day-to-day, short term and long term options.
