Are you looking to start a new challenge as a Teaching Assistant?

Looking to work on a one to one basis with students who have particularly challenging behaviour?

Are you available to start as soon as possible?

You will be working in collaboration with a fully qualified teacher and ideally have past experience of working within a SEN setting before. The school is an Ofsted Registered Independent School. It provides Full-Time, Alternative, Secondary Education for Young People who have been excluded from their previous School or Pupil Referral Unit.

We aim to ensure that local young people are included in Mainstream Education, Training, Apprenticeships or Employment so they can participate as full members of their Communities.

This Role

  • Full Time!
  • Pay Rates - £60 - £70 per day!
  • UK Full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle 5 days a week
  • To be able to start as soon as possible
  • To be to reach to the centre of Bristol

This successful candidate will need:

  • A Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
  • Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
  • Enthusiasm and confidence to work in this environment.
  • A kind, calm and caring manor about you
  • A clean UK driving License with a access to a vehicle 5 days a week
  • Taking a personal interest in the learning of the pupil you'll be mentoring
