Teaching Assistant - Learning Facilitator
Do you have experience working in a secondary school supporting SEN students?
If so, Teaching Personnel are working in conjunction with a secondary school in Trafford, seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a number of students within their inclusion unit. The Teaching Assistant role will involved supporting a range of different students with special educational needs, from students with disabilities to students who show challenging behaviour. As a Learning facilitator you will be responsible for facilitating learning tasks and implementing effective learning strategies for challenging students.

• Working within an inclusion unit
• Part time role on a temporary basis
The head of the inclusion unit within our client secondary school is looking to appoint a number of teaching assistants to work as a learning facilitator. They are looking to offer extra support for their students to help them achieve the best they can.
The ideal Teaching assistant will;
• Have previous experience supporting challenging students in a secondary school
• Have a qualification in supporting young students
• Be able to work flexible hours
• Have your own form of transport
• Have a confident classroom presence
• Be outgoing to interact and engage with all the students
Our client’s secondary school is located in the Trafford are in the south of Manchester. Situated just off the A56, with a public transport link close by, our client secondary school is very easy to access. With a newly built inclusion unit, with high quality equipment provided for the students, our client has produced the perfect leaning environment for their students to achieve their academic goals.
