Job description

Teaching Personnel require an experienced teaching assistant to work in a general Learning Support Assistant role with a KS1 class at a fantastic Primary School in Croydon.

The ideal candidate would have experience in teaching Phonics and Writing development in KS1. You must also be able to work independently or work as part of a team.

The school has over 250 pupils and has a support system in place to continuously develop your teaching ability through CPD courses. It is well connected with transport links throughout South London and the School also offer on-site parking.

We work with a large pool of Primary Schools in the borough of Croydon, supporting Teachers and TA's in their search for short term, long term supply and also for permanent positions. Please note that we require all candidates to possess an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
