Graduate Teaching Assistant

- The position: Teaching Assistant
- Salary: Earn GBP60-65 per day
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive school near central Bristol, recruiting proactive support staff now the schools are reopening. There are both part and full-time roles that provide the opportunity to gain experience and training.
The School:
- Welcoming school with encouraging and supportive staff
- Accessible transport links near M4, M5, M32, A432, A420 Gloucester Road and public transport from Bristol city centre
The ideal candidate:
Will -
- Have a patient and empathetic approach supporting students requiring additional support
- Communicate effectively with other staff and students, clearly updating progress and developments
- Confidently manage sometimes challenging behaviour
Must –
- Having experience working with KS3/4 children and SEN (not necessarily in a classroom) is desirable
- The right to work within the UK and the ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
