Do you have experience of working with secondary aged students? If so, Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you.

We are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary School in Bristol. You will be required to provide support to pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will already have experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a confident but approachable manner and have strong classroom management skills.

The role may suit someone with transferrable skills and applications are welcomed from those individuals who are creative, innovative and have a real passion for supporting children with SEBD. This is a challenging but very rewarding role and would suit someone who has worked in any professional that involves SEBD, such as challenging behaviour, such as prison officers, police, pastoral support or residential support workers.

£52 - £60 Per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
