Secondary Cover Supervisor – Greenwich

Location: Greenwich, London
Job Type: Long Term, Full Time
Salary: Pay to Scale, depending on level of experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Cover Supervisors to join schools across Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience, work in a supportive school environment, and make a real impact in secondary education.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons where required, establishing a constructive, safe, and ordered learning atmosphere.
  • Manage pupil behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Promote inclusion and support diversity within the classroom, ensuring all pupils have equal access to learning and development opportunities.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, youth work, or similar).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with the confidence to deliver across a range of subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
