Teaching Assistant - Middleton

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Middleton.

Due to an increase in the number of pupils this academic year, the school in Middleton are currently recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant with an immediate start date to support the learning of pupils.

The role of Teaching Assistant at this Middleton secondary school will include responsibilities such as supporting the class teacher with a range of subjects, working alongside pupils in smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis who may require additional support and covering lessons with pre-set work in the event of teacher absence.

The successful Teaching Assistant must have previous experience working within a secondary school or working with secondary aged pupils (11-16) and must be qualified to Level 2/Graduate level.

The school is easily accessible from Bury, Rochdale and Oldham, close to the M60. For non-drivers, the school is accessible via public transport, with Mills Hill train station close by.
