Teaching Personnel are currently working with an Ofsted good school located in the Audenshaw area of Tameside. This school is looking for a Maths teacher that have got experience teaching classes from KS3 – KS4. The module will be covered by the AQA syllabus. Therefore, prior experience of planning and marking along this syllabus would be highly desirable.

The role will be working within a mixed mainstream secondary school starting in September 2023. The successful applicant must have received QTS from either a PGCE or a teacher direct programme.

Maths Teacher Job Roles:

  • Teaching KS3/4 maths along the AQA syllabus from the start of September.
  • Planning and marking to be issued from September, with the initial start to be seen as an adjustment period to the school and the year groups.
  • Part of an Ofsted good school just bordering the City Centre surrounded by a supportive department.
  • Pay will be dependent upon a pay scale ranging between M1  UPS3 (£28,000, 43,685).

This mixed secondary school is at the heart of the local community of Tameside, being situated in pleasant residential surroundings. The school prides itself on having a positive ethos and values top class education for all students. They are therefore looking for a Maths teacher who is able to teach high quality lessons. Being a highly regarded secondary school, students’ behaviour is considered very positive with students being engaged with school life.

The school is located on the border of Tameside and Manchester, making it very easy to commute to Maths teachers travelling by public transport or car. The school is close to the local train station as well as the local metrolink tram network which services the whole of Greater Manchester. For those Maths specialists travelling by car, the school is close to the M60 motorway networks and is set in very pleasant surroundings with a large on-site secure car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
