Job description

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths teacher looking for a new opportunity?

We are currently seeking a talented Maths teacher to join our partner school to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to teach at an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

 Dedication to continuous professional development and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students of all abilities, fostering a love for the subject and promoting academic achievement.

With this in mind the school aim to appoint a teacher that is ambitious and has a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level. Someone who will strive to deliver ‘Outstanding’ levels of teaching practice in line with the schools aims. Finally it is crucial that the incoming teacher has a confident and engaging teaching style to ensure that they are stretching the learning of their pupils and giving them the tools to succeed.

Client school

  • Is smaller than the average secondary school and currently has 800 pupils on roll.
  • Located on the boarder or Wigan and just minutes away from the A580.
  • Has an abundance of transport links in and out of Wigan and can be easily accessed from surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
