Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a forward thinking and ambitious Maths Teacher for a ‘Good’ rated client school in Bolton.

  • Maths teacher – Full time position from September
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale
  • Teaching maths to students up to KS4 ranging in ability
  • Work alongside a professional team of professionals and a supportive  Senior Leadership Team
  • Must hold QTS and PGCE specialising in Maths

Our client school are taking applications from Maths teachers of all experience levels and are willing to offer complete support to the successful candidate in aim to bring them up to speed as quickly as possible. You will be responsible for a complete time table which will include full marking and planning responsibilities, being able to manage your time efficiently will be a huge advantage.

  • High expectations from students and what they can achieve
  • Ability to stretch the learning capabilities of students no matter what the ability

The school has a sixth form on campus and is larger than the average high school with around 1800 pupils on roll. In their most recent Ofsted inspection the school was rated ‘Good’ across the board ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is located in Bolton and can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway. Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
