Teaching Assistant in Petersfield

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs school who have been rated Good by Ofsted in their latest report! The school cater for pupils of Primary and Secondary age, with various learning and complex needs. 

The school require the successful candidate to take on a supportive role within their classroom, on both a 1:1 and group basis. You will need to have previous experience working with additional needs, whether this is in a classroom or healthcare setting.  

Requirements:

• Assist in implementing all aspects of a pupils' individual care plans.
• Support the class teacher with the pupils' learning and development.
• Demonstrate a resilience to challenging behaviour.
• Previous experience within a similar role or setting. 
• Flexibility to work in various ages and needs within different situations. 
• A positive and friendly disposition, and the ability to build relationships with the pupils.

This is a lovely school, who really invest in the pupils that are in attendance, through all aspects of their daily life. In order to ensure that each pupil thrives, the school require the best staff to aid their pupil's development and dedicate themselves to the task at hand. The hours are 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday.
