SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you looking to pursue a career in education? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a primary school in Manchester (M14) starting in September.

An excellent multi-cultural primary school in Manchester are looking to recruit for a SEN Teacher. This primary school has a large team of SEN specialist support staff, working closely with the pupil’s home and has introduced a process whereby both the school and the home will work collaboratively to plan the most appropriate provision to meet the needs of the pupil. With a ‘ GOOD’ Ofsted rating in all areas, the school is linguistically diverse and provide the best opportunity for pupils to reach their full potential both in the classroom and beyond.

This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to gain experience in education or are looking to become a teacher!

About the role:

-          Supporting children with SEN with their class work (both 1:1 and groupwork)

-          300 pupils, age range 5-11

-          Full time hours – NO WEEKENDS (Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:30)

-          Supporting the teacher with preparation and managing the classroom

About you:

-          Experience working with SEN children / within a SEN provision

-          Passionate about making learning fun!

-          Encouraging and supporting

-          Nurturing nature

-          Utilise degree knowledge to support students with their well-being and behaviour management

-          Positive attitude!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
