Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Assistant – Make Every Day Count
Location: Daventry
Hours: Full-time
Start: September
This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to be the person a young person remembers 20 years from now — not because you stood at the front of a classroom, but because you stood beside them when it counted.
We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who gets that education is as much about connection as it is about curriculum. Someone who knows the quiet power of encouragement, the magic of patience, and the ripple effect of a well-timed high five.
About Us
Our school is part of a forward-thinking trust with deep local roots. Community matters here. We don’t just open our gates in the morning — we open our doors to families, events, and shared success. We believe education thrives when it’s a team effort, and our support staff are vital to everything we do.
What You’ll Do
-
Support students in lessons, helping them stay engaged and confident
-
Work closely with teachers to tailor support where it’s needed most
-
Be a steady presence, a listening ear, and a source of positive energy
What You’ll Need
-
A genuine love for working with young people
-
Some experience supporting children or teens (in or outside school)
-
A flexible, team-player attitude
