Learning Support Assistant – Daventry
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive team at [Insert School/Organisation Name], a well-regarded school located in the heart of Daventry.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students with a variety of needs – including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – to access the curriculum and achieve their best outcomes. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need extra help
-
Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
-
Encourage the development of students' social and emotional well-being
-
Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff
-
Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is a plus)
-
Is patient, compassionate and proactive
-
Can work effectively as part of a team
-
Has good communication and interpersonal skills
-
(Desirable) Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
