Primary Support Assistant
Liverpool, Aintree
GBP65 - GBP70 per day
Full time Temporary Contract – November 2020 – July 2021
The role:
Teaching Personnel is working with a mainstream Primary School in L9, Aintree, who is searching for an experienced 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil in Year 1 who is working at a much lower level (around 2-3yrs). The pupil has communication and speech impairments, and personal care may also be required. They can also be quite energetic so requires help with concentration.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting, and experience working with children with lower level learning abilities.
This is a full time long term role until the end of the academic year in July 2021.

The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted and the curriculum is broad and balanced and contributes to the good and improving progress that almost all pupils make across a range of subjects. Pupils behave well around school and in classrooms. Teachers and leaders deal swiftly with the very few incidents of misbehaviour. Governors are supportive of the school.
