Teachers needed for SATs Boosters in Northampton

I am looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Year 6 teacher to work in a Northampton based Primary School to support teaching across the year group and also offer booster and interventions to targeted children. This role would be ideal for an experienced teacher who has knowledge of SATs, intervention and booster classes.

The successful candidate must have the ability to play a key role in planning, assessment and delivery of lessons. It is essential that the successful candidate can build positive and lasting relationships with both staff and children.

The role includes:

• Delivering lessons in reading, writing and maths to small groups of children
• Making effective use of assessment to plan lessons and check progress
• Working with the class teachers and providing feedback
• Covering whole classes when the need arises

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
