Job description

A Preston SEN School which provides education and support for KS1-2 pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs including, Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and Downs Syndrome.

The Preston School are seeking a teacher to join their existing team. Situated in the heart of Preston, the school is just a short walk from the local bus station and has excellent transport links from the surrounding areas such as Chorley, Leyland and Blackburn.

The school caters for pupils aged 5- 12 years old with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and Speech, Language and Communication Needs. You will be committed to deliver Outstanding Teaching and to your own personal and professional development as a teacher. Previous experience of working with Special Educational Needs is desirable, but a desire to work in this sector and the drive to support students with additional needs to exceed expectations is paramount. Teaching Personnel are proud to offer excellent CPD courses, with training sessions in Effective Behaviour Management, Assessment for Learning and Differentiation.
