Start date: September 2018

The School is seeking to appoint a skilled and inspirational Teacher of Science. It is vital that you have the skills to form effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and have the passion and drive to ensure our students receive the best possible learning opportunities. The Science department are a highly skilled, confident and outward thinking that has worked hard to shape and build their vision over time and they now wish to find the right person to join their team and help them continue this journey.

The school are extremely ambitious for our 814 students and have a strong vision to ensure that the life-chances of every young person are enhanced by quality teaching, leading to excellent outcomes. Having secured a 'Good' OFSTED in April 2015 they are now looking for staff who can take them to 'Outstanding.'

Requirements:

  • QTS although suitably qualified and experienced candidates may be considered who have willingness to achieve QTS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent subject knowledge of the English curriculum for both KS3 and GCSE
  • Good sense of humour and classroom presence
  • Enhanced DBS that is registered for the update service

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
