Location: Wigan
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner if available)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent placement)
Salary: MPS/UPS – dependent on experience
A well-regarded secondary school in Wigan is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join their successful Humanities department. As a Teacher of Geography, you’ll deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, bringing physical and human geography topics to life while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it

Have a strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum up to GCSE level

Be passionate about creating stimulating lessons that foster a love of learning

Contribute positively to the department and wider school community
