Teacher of Geography for September 2019

The school, based in the Basingstoke have opened up an opportunity within their forward thinking, innovate department for an enthusiastic, and highly motivated teacher of geography to join them from September 2019. You should be an ambitious qualified teacher who is expert in their subject and can demonstrate at interview you will be an excellent practitioner and a strong team player who is keen on developing and sharing pedagogical practices. As a new teacher in the department, your contribution will be just as valuable of that of your colleagues and you will be expected to drive forward the attainment and promote a love for the subject across every year group.

Within the department, there is emphasis on team work and mutual support where staffs share best practice and resources to ensure a well rounded and rich curriculum for all. Geography is a key subject in the school and is growing in popularity. To be successful, you must be confident in teaching across a range of ages and key stages ensuring that your teaching is inclusive for all.
