The school is a highly regarded and highly successful school committed to providing a high calibre education for all of their pupils. Based 5 minutes from Blackburn town centre the school is in an excellent location with excellent road links and access to public transport. The school has a successful 6th form and a candidate considering this role should have experience delivering either French or German to A-level. The position is due to start from January 2017 to cover a long term absence within the MFL department.

The school is seeking to appoint a highly effective MFL specialist to work within the MFL department. They are committed to providing tailored CPD, candidates must be passionate about MFL and a team player at heart. You must be focused, resilient and good-humoured, and have experience of teaching and learning at Key Stages 3 and 4. You should also possess excellent communication skills and a desire to see all learners succeed.
