Teacher of Computer Science- Leigh
Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our partner secondary schools located in Leigh to recruit for a Teacher of Computer Science. This represents a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Computer Science to join a rapidly improving school on a long term basis ahead of the new academic year:
- Full time teaching position of Computer Science to Key Stages 3 & 4
- Required to start from September 2018
- Paid in line with MPS/UPS dependent on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
- Possibility of a fixed term/permanent contract
Due to re-structuring within the ICT department, the Head teacher of our client school is seeking a Teacher of Computer Science with a proven track record of raising attainment in their subject. In return, the school will offer vast continual professional development opportunities and comprehensive support from the Senior Leadership team.
This is an exciting time to join our partner school as they are going from strength to strength under a recently appointed Senior Leadership team. They are committed to raising the standard of teaching throughout the school which ensures incoming teachers will be allowed to thrive in a high performance culture.
The school is slightly smaller than the average size with just over 750 pupils on roll. The vast majority of pupils who attend are from a White British background. The numbers of pupils who speak English as an Additional Language is below the national average. It has an excellent reputation within the local area with a strong sense of community felt throughout.
It is located on the outskirts of Leigh town centre making it accessible for those on public transport also. It is easily accessible from both the surrounding areas of Bolton and Wigan respectively via the A579.
If you are a Teacher of Computer Science looking to secure a progressive role from September, please send your full CV to Paul via the link below. If you wish to receive further details on the role, please contact the Manchester West Secondary branch directly.
