Job Role: Teacher

Pay: GBP130-GBP180 per day dependant on experience and qualifications

Contract Length: February 2020 to September 2020 with extension and permanent contract opportunities available

Are you experienced teaching and planning lessons for pupils with education health care plans (EHCPs)?

Or do you have a background teaching primary or secondary students and are looking to embark on a career in special needs education?

Teachers are required for a newly opened school in Twickenham, Richmond upon Thames. They are searching for Teachers, ideally with primary training to join their expanding team. With all pupils having a SEN statement, the school are looking for teachers who have experience teaching pupils with special needs or pupils in mainstream schools with a willingness to transfer skills into a special needs setting.

Teacher long-term contracts begin in February 2020 after the school half term with the successful Teachers being required to commit until September 2020 minimally.There are opportunities to extend or take on permanent contracts within the school if this is what you want to do. 

The school currently have 20 pupils with plans to expand to 72 within the next couple years. The school will provide successful teachers with in-house support, a fantastic team and a fun, welcoming environment to work in. You will be working amongst like minded specialists in the field where new and creative methods of teaching are promoted.

The Teacher role is from Monday – Friday each week from 8:30 to 4:00pm with all staff required to be punctual and dedicated due to the range of needs within the school.  

Teacher - Requirements;

  • Relevant UK teaching qualifications
  • Ideally Primary Education trained but Secondary and Early Years qualified teachers are welcome to apply
  • Experience with special needs particularly autism and learning difficulties
  • Experience or willingness to support children with Speech and Language Therapy (as directed by speech therapist)
  • Genuine interest in starting or developing career in special needs education
  • Available for work immediately and full-time
