Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

Working Pattern- Full time
Pay- From £13.75 depending on experience
Contract- Temp to perm
You will be joining a small primary school located in Bolton, dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment for all its pupils. The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learning within their Key Stage One classes starting in September 2025. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school maintains high expectations for both staff and pupils and is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to help deliver high quality Phonics, Writing and Maths interventions. You will contribute to creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment and assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons for KS1.
What you'll need to succeed :
-Full DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
-Full Right to work in the UK
-An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is desired but not required.
-Skills in communication, English and Maths
-Attributes such as patience, empathy, creativity, and flexibility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
