Learning Support Assistants (LSA) – Supporting Children with Additional Needs
Teaching Personnel – Southampton & The New Forest
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team supporting pupils across primary and secondary provisions in Southampton and The New Forest.
We work closely with schools that require both short-term cover for sickness and long-term or permanent staff placements, offering you flexible opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children or young people in education, medical, or youth work settings
-
A compassionate and patient approach to working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
-
GCSEs (or equivalent) at pass grades in English and Maths
-
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
-
Availability to start as soon as possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
