Support Youth Worker needed in Launceston

We are looking for a Social Support Youth Worker in the Bude Area. You will be mentoring and supporting young people on a 1:1 basis. The students you will be supporting have challenging behaviours and will be from the ages of 5-16. The hours are 8:30-3:30 5 days a week with potential earnings of £325 per week. Experience is proffered but not necessary. You will be supporting young people in their education and to be a support mentor to them.

- Have a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Have a Child Workforce DBS
- Be available FULL TIME
- Youth Support/Mentor experience is desired but not necessary
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Be fun and outgoing

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
