Teaching Personnel have been working closely with a number of academy trusts and looking to recruit Support workers to work with children and young people in an educational setting. These roles are supporting children who are not currently in mainstream education. You would be working on a 1:1/small group basis supporting different children with their SEMH.
Being able to drive is required as you will need to be access the base and potentially do some work offsite as well.
These roles are full time positions working from 8:30-3:30.
The school provides for a range of students with variating needs from KS1 to KS4. They pride themselves on their hands on approach to learning and use interactive technologies, excursions and creativity to keep their pupils engaged and focused on their learning.
A DBS is needed in child workforce only. As part of our vetting requirements your DBS needs to be on the Update Service. If you do not have either of these then do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you to go through the application process.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
