Teaching Personnel are recruiting graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in and around central and south Manchester. The Manchester South Secondary team partners with schools all around central and south Manchester including Altrincham, Old Trafford, Longsight, Denton and Stockport. The role of a graduate Teaching Assistant is suitable for recent university graduates (any degree) or individuals interested in starting a career in education or childcare. This role would be based in one secondary school on a full-time basis.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Role Overview:

• Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
• Work with pupils in groups or one-to-one
• Assist with learning activities, resources, and general classroom organisation
• Contribute to maintaining behaviour standards and a good learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A graduate with a degree in any subject
• Relevant experience in education/childcare is preferred but not essential
• Confident, good communicator with strong organisational skills
• Professional attitude
• Willingness to receive training and follow school policies
• Eager to pursue a career in education or teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
