Teaching Personnel is the UK's Leading Education Recruitment Agency, seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to work within local provisions in the area. We are looking for dedicated practitioners who will strive to achieve the best outcomes for pupils, specifically those with additional needs.Over the last 21 years we have been working with local authorities, sen schools, pupil referral units, mainstream primary and mainstream secondary schools. We have built relationships across Scarborough and surrounding areas and are looking for members of staff who will up-hold our values.
Learning Support Assistants - Scarborough, North Yorkshire
- Various hours, term time only (ad-hoc, supply, long term cover, fixed term and permanent contracts)
- Scarborough and surrounding areas
- £9 per hour as a minimum*
We require Learning Support Assistants, who can be available at short notice, to join our pool of committed, dedicated and passionate staff.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll contribute to the delivery of appropriate non-teaching support in classroom situations and other settings, working with students with additional support needs on a 1:1 or group basis in accordance with the dedicated personal education plans.
I am looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, forward thinking and can easily build a rapport with students.
What we are looking for:
- GCSE in English and Maths grade A*- C / 9 - 4 or equivalent
- Relevant Teaching Qualifications
- Experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- Experience of working with learners with additional support needs in an educational setting
