Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based SEN School who are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who can commit to a long term role supporting pupils who have additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and ADHD. The School is smaller than average and only caters for approximately 40 pupils, both male and female, ranging in age from 11 - 17 years of age.

The School are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work alongside pupils who are often challenging in their behaviours and support them both academically and emotionally. The School are hoping to appoint a candidate on a temp - perm basis, which essentially means you would be a permanent member of staff before the summer holidays.

The candidate suited to this role will have experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours or/and children with SEN. The candidate will ideally hold their Team Teach qualification or be willing to complete the Team Teach course over the February half term.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day

- Long term position available
