Casual Supply Teachers- Wigan

Are you a qualified secondary teacher (11-18) looking for casual supply work in Wigan or Warrington? Would you like to still teach without the additional responsibility of planning and marking? If so, then we would love to hear from you today!

Teaching Personnel work in close partnership with several secondary schools in Wigan and Warrington. Consequently we are constantly looking to register suitable teachers who are seeking work which suits their availability and circumstances.


- Teaching Personnel have partnerships with two training schools in Salford and Liverpool which allows you access to exclusive CPD courses such as Progress 8, Effective Behaviour Management, Differentiation and Assessment for Learning.

- Teaching Personnel are the preferred choice of agency for many of the schools in the North West meaning work opportunities are vast.

- Further, many of the schools in Wigan and Warrington are high achieving schools with engaged pupils which make them a harmonious place to teach in.

Whether you are newly qualified and looking for networking opportunities in new schools, or an experienced practitioner looking to work as a casual supply teacher, we are available for registration each day between 7am - 6:30pm. Working on a supply basis will require you to have transport options to commute, sometimes from a morning call. However, with the number of schools we work with, we are able to offer work that is close to home!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
