Job Description
We are recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a number of Salford secondary schools from February 2026. Roles include general day-to-day supply as well as full-time subject-specific placements.
This is a great opportunity for teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and regular work within supportive school settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Maintain a positive and effective classroom environment
- Follow school policies, including behaviour management procedures
- Adapt teaching across a range of subjects when required
- Ensure safeguarding standards are met at all times
Requirements
- QTS or QTLS
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
