Qualified Geography Teacher (GCSE) – Full Time
Location: Secondary School, M18 (Manchester)
Contract: Full time, temporary – until the end of the academic year
Start date: ASAP
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the M18 area of Manchester. This is a full-time role teaching GCSE Geography, running until the end of the current academic year.
The role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
- Support pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive humanities department
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- Be able to teach GCSE Geography with confidence
- Have strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Be reliable, adaptable, and passionate about Geography education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
