Qualified Geography Teacher (GCSE) – Full Time

Location: Secondary School, M18 (Manchester)
Contract: Full time, temporary – until the end of the academic year
Start date: ASAP

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the M18 area of Manchester. This is a full-time role teaching GCSE Geography, running until the end of the current academic year.

The role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Support pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive humanities department

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
• Be able to teach GCSE Geography with confidence
• Have strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Be reliable, adaptable, and passionate about Geography education
