Drama Teacher
Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that build students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The successful candidate will start this Easter, covering a one year maternity. The role involves teaching a range of drama techniques, including improvisation, script work, and devising, adapted to suit different ages and abilities.
You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported to collaborate, explore ideas, and express themselves. The role may also include supporting rehearsals, performances, or showcases, and contributing to a collaborative and creative working culture.
Key Responsibilities

You will:

Relevant teaching qualification or professional experience in drama/theatre

Experience working with children or young people

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
