Drama Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that build students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The successful candidate will start this Easter, covering a one year maternity. The role involves teaching a range of drama techniques, including improvisation, script work, and devising, adapted to suit different ages and abilities.

You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported to collaborate, explore ideas, and express themselves. The role may also include supporting rehearsals, performances, or showcases, and contributing to a collaborative and creative working culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality drama lessons

• Foster creativity, confidence, and teamwork in students

• Prepare students for performances, showcases, and assessments

You will:

• Relevant teaching qualification or professional experience in drama/theatre

• Experience working with children or young people

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable teaching style
