Job description

We are seeking a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Oldham from after the February half term. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.

The school is proud of its ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and has a strong focus on high-quality teaching, positive relationships, and student achievement. Geography is a valued subject within the curriculum, and the department benefits from collaborative planning and a shared enthusiasm for the subject.

This role would suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin their career in a supportive environment, or an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge in a well-run and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire curiosity about the world and develop students’ geographical skills
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department

You would be paid inline with your teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3) £168.80 – £261.78 per day.
