A fantastic position has become available at a welcoming, Ofsted ‘Good’ secondary school in North-East Manchester. The school is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging Geography Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a thriving department.
About the Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them. You will be responsible for planning creative lessons, monitoring student progress, and helping shape the geography curriculum.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of geographical concepts, excellent communication skills, and a passion for motivating students at all ability levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and engaging geography lessons that deepen students’ knowledge.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that inspires learning.
- Prepare students thoroughly for exams and coursework to help them achieve their best results.
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department.

Requirements
- Fully qualified to teach Geography (or a related subject).
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
- Two references covering the last 24 months.
- Availability for interviews or trial days.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
