Easter is an exciting time to join Teaching Personnel!

Due to the growth of our SEN clientele, Teaching Personnel are in search of candidates looking to work within a Behaviour School; the School caters for those with SEMH, ASC, MLD and Behavioural Difficulties.

I am recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistances and Learning Mentors. The ideal candidate would have relevant experience and transferable skill sets. Relevant experience can come from working within a similar role such as youth work, sports coaching, play schemes, support and residential background.

I am working with several Schools across York and North Yorkshire who are working in partnership with Teaching Personnel for any staffing requirements. There is a choice of different vacancies to pick from, either supporting those in Key Stage 1 and 2, or Key Stage 3-5.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
Degree or Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Education (or an equivalent)
SEN Training such as 'Understanding Autism' and 'Behaviour Management'
Team Teach/PRICE/NAPPI positive de-escalations training

BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR TEACHING PERSONNEL:
Dedicated specialist SEN consultant who will seek out your ideal job role
Flexibility; options of working either part time, full time roles or on an adhoc basis
Opportunity to work within different schools until you find your perfect placement!
Competitive rates of pay varying from £50.44 - £58.87 starting daily rate
Free CPD courses online with nationally recognised certificates

Candidates with lack of experience but are enthusiastic in making a difference within SEN students are welcomed to apply. As I am also representing SEN schools that overlook experience over enthusiasm!

To be considered for this position, please forward me your CV and a short covering letter to or alternatively call in on 01482 312042. I would welcome an informal discussion by telephone.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
