Position: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Twickenham, Richmond
Salary: GBP20-25 per hour
Start: ASAP
Required for: Mondays to Fridays from September 2020 - July 2021 initially
Suitable for: Band 6 or above Speech Therapists
The school:
Our specialist school provides for children with speech, language and communication difficulties. We are situated in Richmond with two sites in Twickenham, West London for children and young people from the ages of 4 to 19. Our school recently opened in 2019 with a secondary department and are looking to complete the expansion of our primary department by September 2021.

- Speech, language and communication needs, autism and social and emotional needs

- Small classes with a high adult to child ratio
The school will offer:

The Job:
Our special school in Twickenham are looking to appoint a Speech Therapist for a two-part role. This role involves both providing integrated SaLT services to children in our school and being an integral part of establishing a whole school approach to language development.
We are looking to appoint a Speech and Language Therapist on Band 6 or above to start immediately with experience of working with children with special educational needs. The role is full-time and would be ideal for a speech therapist seeking longer term and permanent career opportunities.
The Speech and Language Therapist will be:
- Qualified with RCSLT membership, ASLTIP membership and/or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC),
- Working within Band 6 or above
- Experienced planning and delivering speech therapy for children with special needs (ideally in an educational setting)
- Available full-time Mondays to Fridays during school term time
