Job description

A full time position for a Specialist English Teacher to work within a Specialist Behaviour Setting which is located in the centre of Manchester. This position is commencing after February half term so Teachers with the appropriate experiences and skills are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

The Setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which is located in Manchester and runs across 9 sites. The pupils who attend the Setting often show signs of challenging behaviour and can be prone to aggressive outbursts. The pupils who attend the Setting have various needs including: SEMH needs, extreme challenging behaviour and teen pregnancy so this particular position would be ideal for a Teacher who has experience working with vulnerable pupils.

In order to be considered for this position you should have:

- Qualified Teacher Status

- A subject specialism (ideally in a core subject)

- Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour

- Experience working within a PRU (ideal)
