Can you commit to long-term full-time role, 5 days a week?

The Role- Special Needs Teaching Assistant
The ideal Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be working with small groups of pupils or 1:1 with Complex Needs and challenging behaviour. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be teaching students aged 4-11 creative lessons to help engage student in learning. Behaviour needs will vary from child to child, so you'll need to be confident with working with challenging behaviour.
The School
Based in Harrogate with accessible transport links, some of these pupils have EHCP. This school aim to keep teaching and learning at a high quality. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this school have creative facilities to help highlight pupil's passion and interests.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
