Role: SEN Support Assistant – Uxbridge – Easter 2020 Start
Hours:Full Time, 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday
Contract Length:Temporary to Permanent
Pay:GBP62.50 – 70 per day dependant on experiences and references

We are currently working with a special needs school in Uxbridge to find an engaging and ambitious support assistant to support pupils in the school’s primary department with autism and complex learning difficulties. The school is based in the Hillingdon area with good links to Metropolitan Line via Uxbridge Station or Central London via West Ruislip Station. There is also parking onsite so this would be ideal for applicants travelling from Ealing/Ruislip to Uxbridge via car.

Who We Want
* SEN Support Assistant – Uxbridge – Feb 2020 Start full-time hours *

  • We are looking for resilient support staff  with experience supporting Special Needs (SEN) particularly autism, physical needs and/or learning difficulties
  • We are looking for an individual with great communication skills, a willingness to be flexible and ability to support with learning
  • Moving and Handling, personal care or positive behaviour support training or experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Level 3 Cache, GCSE or degree level qualified (exceptions can be made)

What You Do
* SEN Support Assistant – Uxbridge – Feb 2020 Start*

  • Guide and support students at Early Years, KS1 or KS2 with provided 1:1 and small group lesson plans
  • Help build pupil confidence and involvement in activities throughout the school day
  • Support children when needed with personal care or moving and handling (manual handling)
  • Join a successful primary department with a history of positive outcomes for pupils with complex special needs
  • Meet great and friendly people from different cultures and career backgrounds.

What We Provide
* SEN Support Assistant – Uxbridge – February 2020 Start*

Competitive Pay: GBP62.50 - GBP70/ day (No Umbrella/Limited Company). Based on positive feedback and individual merit permanent contracts are offered in-house after a set notice period
