Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant required to work in a local Special Educational Needs School.

The school provides outstanding education and support for pupils aged 2 -19 years old with a range of additional needs. The school boasts excellent purpose built facilities and champions using technology to support students, especially with communication needs.

The school supports students with physical disabilities (PD), Autism (ASD), social emotional and mental health (SEMH), moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The work can vary from care based to sensory support, helping children to engage in learning and provide them with the full opportunity to reach their potential.

Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is not required, just a passion for supporting children.

We offer Team Teach training to support the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
