Job description

An academy school that cater for pupils with extremely challenging behaviours. These behaviours are physical and verbal; with the additional violent and sexual behaviours.

The successful Youth Worker will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who have been withdrawn from lessons.

Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role. However, experience of a Sporting background in coaching or teaching would be desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
