Teaching Assistant required to work with SEN pupils

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for a school based in Stanley to support a Year 3 class. The class has a high proportion of SEN pupils and requires someone who has worked with a range of SEN.

The school is based in an area of deprivation, it is a 'Good' school with single form entry classes based in a little village.

This role entails teaching supporting the Year 3 class and also some 121 support with be required. The role is to start in January, the successful candidate will required for at least 1 term but will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent role.

  • Full time role supporting SEN pupils in a Year 3 class
  • Role starts 7th January for 1 term at least with the opportunity to apply for the permanent role
  • Competitive rates earn up to £300 per week
  • Work in a Good Village school, close to Stanley

Essentials to apply:

  • TA qualification
  • SEN experience - having worked with a range of abilities
  • Available full time from January
  • DBS

The school will be shortlisting candidates on the 30th November and interviews will be held soon after.
