SEN Teaching Assistants required in Wandsworth

Two schools based in Wandsworth and Morden that cater for young people on the autistic spectrum and with profound and multiple learning difficulties need staff for immediate start.

Are you available for either day to day or full time work?

One is a secondary that has opportunities for Teaching Assistants for either day to day cover or full time work. The school caters for a mixture of complex needs and mild to severe autism, with classes holding up to 10 students, a teacher and up to 3 other TAs.

The other is a primary school that is autism specific. Both schools are looking for people with following the experience and knowledge

• Are able to support ASC, including some with challenging behaviour
• Can provide personal care where necessary, for students with PMLD
• Have experience of supporting children with SEN either in primary or secondary
• Can provide excellent references from previous employment
• Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new application asap
• Hold a level 3 qualification relating to working with children (desirable but not essential)
