SEN Teaching Assistant required in Brent

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Reception with Special Education Needs. The pupil is on the autistic spectrum and displays challenging behaviour. There for the right candidate must have a good level of experiences working with children with special educational needs.

About the role

  • Full time position, starting immediately
  • Mornings 1:1 - afternoons general support
  • We are looking for someone who is flexible, can start immediately and must have relevant experience supporting children with special education needs.
  • Qualifications related to the role and working with children will be an advantage

Highly Desirable; Support worker, Autism Awareness, Team Teach and Psychology Degree

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
