This role would be perfectly suited to an experienced Teaching Assistant, SEN Support Workers, Carers, Social Workers, or Psychology graduate. Please do not be reluctant to apply even if you do not have school based experience.

About the role…

This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting the development of children who have been identified as having Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Moderate/Severe Learning Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. It is likely that you will be tasked with working with small groups of students with additional needs (no more than 5 children at a time). You could also be required to support children on a 1:1 basis to aid in their further development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
